Professor Philip Kotler is a seminal figure in modern marketing. He holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT, conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University, and has received honorary doctorates from eight universities worldwide. As the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at Kellogg School of Management, he has also served as a marketing advisor to global corporations such as IBM, General Electric, and AT&T. 

His book Marketing Management is a globally acclaimed classic, published in over 60 countries and widely regarded as the "marketing bible."
